Limited Masterworks Wall Picture, Fabulous Floral Flourish

All imported porcelains from China and Japan were considered "Indian". To this day, the stylized plant and mythical animal decorations of the hand-painted Chinese porcelains of the time are called "Indian" or "Indian painting". For the current edition of Limited Masterpieces, Anett Gerner developed a contemporary reinterpretation of this otherwise colorful painting style. Imaginative flower heads cover the mural and are merely supported by restrained leaves. In contrast to traditional Indian painting, the porcelain painter chose for this exciting painting a reduced color palette of pink to purple tones with gray accents, which the deep black background elegantly highlights.
