Vases

The wide range of porcelain vases in the Meissen Home Deco collections are available in a variety of shapes and sizes suitable for long-stemmed flowers and branches, informal wildflower bouquets or lush floral arrangements. Their innovative forms and at times exquisitely detailed ornamentation once again demonstrate the endless font of creativity and the tremendous skill of Meissen’s artisans while at the same time making the vases themselves decorative design objects. As objects, the vases often serve as a canvas for detailed reliefs or hand-painted artwork ranging from the iconic “Onion Pattern” and its colourful “Rainbow” reinterpretation, all the way to bird painting, an artistic genre with one of the longest-standing traditions at the manufactory.
