Limited Edition Pot with lizard and "Fanciful Dragonflies"

A special work of art in traditional high-quality Meissen - The lizard jug "Fantasy Dragonflies", limited available in an exclusive edition of 2020. On the lid of the jug made of cooper stoneware enthroned in the style of traditional East Asian vessels a small guardian lion as a symbol of bravery and strength. The handle and pourer of the limited edition jug are shaped like lizards, which turn towards the sun and in Chinese tradition stand for security, happiness and warmth. The hand-painted decoration in the style of a drawing from nature is reduced to two prehistoric dragonflies in fine gold. The matte brown material contrasts aesthetically with the hand-painted ornamental gold accents, allowing the artwork to impress with its soft look. Designed limited for the 2020 edition, this jug represents a testament to the impeccable craftsmanship of Meissens. The hand-painted gold decoration gives the work of art an elegant effect in combination with the naturalness of the cooper stoneware.
