A limited designed and posh little bowl in the finest Meissen craftsmanship. In the great tradition of Meissen animal sculptures is also Paul Walther's hand-painted decorated figure "Parakeet on Bowl", a small bird on a bowl, which is intended as a depository for everyday things or small nibbles. The delicate staffage of the figure testifies to the highest Meissen craftsmanship and was hand-painted in lively colors. In the typical style of the beginnings of Art Deco, the decorative as well as functional work is shown in its purest, most beautiful form. As part of the limited reissued edition of Masterpieces 2020, this little bird amidst a white sea of porcelain adorns fine craftsmanship and beautifies any environment with a natural serenity. The hand-painted and detailed finish of the figurine contrasts with the soft surface of the white bowl, giving the bird an almost vibrant appearance.
