Like a sea rippled by the wind, the wave relief plays around the individual pieces of the "Wave Play Relief" dinnerware set, underscoring the high quality of the radiant white MEISSEN^® porcelain. The 14-piece, modern "Wave Play Relief" dinnerware set includes the basics of its large original service, each in duplicate. Perfectly suited for 2 people, it makes an ideal table setting for a dinner in romantic company.

Under the creative direction of Sabine Wachs, the "Wave Play Relief" service made of MEISSEN^® porcelain is presented in 1996. The new, modern form of the dinnerware set picks up on elements typical of the manufactory, such as the ring-shaped handles, and presents them in a dynamic design in keeping with the spirit of the times. The play of waves not only influences the sweeping contours of the dinner service, but also its surface in the relief version. The inspiration for the richly detailed pattern relief came to MEISSEN^® sculptor Jörg Danielczyk during a morning fishing trip.
