King August III wanted to surprise his beloved Maria Josepha with a special gift. In 1739, the Meissen master modeller Johann Joachim Kaendler created the enchanting flower that was to write world history as the snowball blossom. A sea of these blossoms entwines the large coffee mug, each flower individually crafted and decorated with the highest level of craftsmanship. The noble white combines grace and elegance.
