The "Panther" figurine shines in the iconic white of MEISSEN® porcelain. The sculpture captures a snapshot of the mysterious big cat engaged in extensive grooming. Created by sculptor Erich Oehme, who studied animal anatomy and became famous for his expressive animal sculptures, it is a testament to fabulous craftsmanship. Oehme created the "Panther" figure in 1921 after being inspired by the sight of a cat. In what is probably his most popular model, the accent of the modeling is on power and dynamism - masterfully balanced, the sculpture captures an intimate moment of magical beauty.
